Why is it?

That my roommate gets to go to sleep, and I have to stay up doing homework?  Oh I know, its because I chose to do something where I get to have fun every day.

A real question though, am I the only one who feels like by thinking or incubating on an idea you come up with your best work?  (compared to doing more quick models that don't feel as personal?)

Reflections on 'Typeface'

I honestly enjoyed this movie.  I am a dork.  It made me REALLY want to take a letterpress class if not for anything other than to make big ampersands on paper in fun colors.
& <-- Like that, but with numbers overlaying it.
I do think its sad that wood type is fading out, seeing how passionate these people where about an arguably obsolete trade kind of broke my heart.  The movie definitely succeeded  in its goal to create awareness of letterpress and the Wisconsin ''Hamilton Wood Type Museum" I really want to visit it.
I also want to get into letterpress now.  I WILL be taking it with Linda in the summer (if its offered)
